My most recently completed piece of furniture has generated some research to find out about its origins and being an old piece also brings up the argument with the purists about restoration verses re-creation.
I talked previously about taking it easy in my retirement and my new pastime of furniture flipping. How did this come about you ask? A little pine sideboard and some of my own furniture and I found a new distraction.
I originally intended this post to be my 10 favourite children’s patterns. I realised when I started writing it would be very difficult to limit it to 10. There are so many creative designer designing gorgeous patterns for kids.
